ONLINE REGISTRATION:
PAYPAL OR CREDIT CARD

Online registration is the best way to register. Our shopping cart only accepts registration until the classes are full. Use our secure Paypal payment system with your Paypal account or your credit card. You do not need to sign up for a Paypal account to use your credit card.

REGISTRATION IN PERSON:
CASH or CHECK

You can register in person with one of our teachers, using cash, check, or money order to pay for your class. The teacher will register you on the website, which is how we keep track of registrations. If the class fills up before your registration is complete, your name will go on the waiting list.

Registration

Payment is due at time of registration.

Some classes are for adults only, some allow younger beaders to work with adults, and some are for kids only. Check the class listing carefully.

You may pay one of the teachers with Cash, Check or Money Order; or pay online using Paypal with a credit card or Paypal account.

Registration closes 3 days before the date of the class. Classes are canceled if schools are closed or less than 3 people are signed up.

Cancellation Policy

Refunds are available ONLY if we cancel the class. You may either take another class of the same value, or receive your money in the same method of payment.

Cell Phone Policy

Please be respectful of other students by silencing your cell phone while in class. If it is important that someone contact you during class, please have them call the store; Sandi will be happy to relay a message to you.

What To Bring

Each class kit comes with all the materials and illustrated instructions. You will need to bring your own tools. We also suggest you bring a task lamp, your beading glasses, and a fuzzy mat to work on.

The class description tells you what skills and tools you will need to bring. Each kit has complete materials and illustrated instructions. You will need to bring your own tools and a fuzzy mat to work on. A task lamp and beading glasses are often very helpful. In some classes, the teacher will have specialty tools that you can use while you are in class. We want all students to be successful, so come prepared with the “right stuff“.

Private Classes

If you love a certain class, but the timing isn't right, you can sponsor a private class for three or more people at the store.

If you love a certain class, but don't have the right skills yet, we would be happy to schedule private instruction for one to three people for an hourly fee of $30 for the group. This allows you to go at your own pace while getting the individual attention you need. Please contact the kit designer for details.

How Do I Know Which Class is Right for Me?

BEGINNER - Getting Started: Great for the newest beaders! We will get you started by introducing you to the right tools and the basic techniques to start beading. The basics of stringing, wrapped loops, stitching, chain maille, and polymer clay techniques explained and demonstrated in these classes. These classes are appropriate for students at different skill levels or ages in one class, because the teacher will always cover the basics.

INTERMEDIATE: Do you want to learn how to combine the basics to make something “more”? We will review the basics, then show you how to put them together in different ways. In these classes, the teacher may quickly review a basic technique, then add another level of complexity or combine it with a totally different technique to give it a twist. You don't need to be an expert in the techniques, but this should not be the first time you have done it either. These classes are designed to expand and combine the skills you already have.

ADVANCED: These classes are for the student who LOVES to experiment. You will learn to bend the basics to your will and stretch your mind around something different, putting a twist on the techniques you already know. These are advanced to master's level classes, and may be a full day or multiple sessions. Come prepared with the “right stuff” by checking the class descriptions carefully.

THE BUSINESS OF BEADS:
Get your artistry out there in the world. Learn about combining colors, writing tutorials, pricing your jewelry, setting up for a show, building a brand. These are the nuts-and-bolts we had to learn, so now we can share them with you. Tell us what you need!
